Welcome to Storvretacup 2018/2019!


We have gathered some important information about the tournament:

Swedish Floorball Federation rules govern all games.


Playing time and number of matches: 

Seniors and Juniors and born 02 and 03 2 x 20 minutes. The basic game is played in series form, where winning teams qualify for the A finals, and losing teams qualify to the B finals.


Boys/Girls born -04 or younger play 2x15 minutes in the group stage and the semifinals. Finals are played 2x20 minutes for all classes and age groups. 


Juniors and Youth (02-06) are guaranteed to play at least four games. 


Adult, junior and the youth classes born -02 to -06 plays both A-and B-playoffs. 


Boys/Girls born -07or younger are guaranteed five games.


Difficult or easy group in the youngest classes: 

In the classes boys -03, -04 -05 and -06 as well as girls -06 you can choose to play hard or easy group.


In the class for boys born -06, we also offer the opportunity to participate in B06M, where M stands for the Medium. This is to try to make the games more even, this is because we have a lot of newly started teams and teams from younger age groups in the Easy class. So if you have a boys born -06 team that has played a few years, but still feel that you are not ready to play in Hard class it will be the Medium class that should suit you best. 


Winning Bonus:

Winning teams in the ladies and gentlemens class: 20 000 SEK 

Winning teams in the H-20 and D-20: 20.000 SEK 

Winning teams in the H-18 and D-18: 10.000 SEK 


Runner up in the A finals, i.e. the second place teams, of the senior and junior divisions are awarded next year’s entrance fee (Storvretacup 2019/2020). 

All winning teams in the A finals are awarded next year’s entrance fee (Storvretacup 2019/2020).

Medals to all players and a team trophy are awarded to the 1st-3rd team in each class of the Class A playoffs. 

A team trophy is awarded to the winner and runner up in the B playoffs. 

Every game, a MVP receives a t-shirt.

In the A-finals of all age classes, the tournament's best goalkeeper, defender and forward are nominated and presented during the A-Final award ceremony.

All participants in the youngest boys and girls classes receive a plaque.


Payment and expenses:

Entry Fee: 

Seniors: 2300 SEK / per team

Youth: 2200 SEK / per team


Attendance Cards:

Category A: two nights stay in school, two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners (dinner day 1 - lunch day 3) 

Bus transportation to and from the floorball arenas and schools, Cup t-shirt, discounted admission to the Fyrishov Water Park. Price: 690 SEK per person.


Category D: Bus transportation to and from the floorball arenas and schools, Cup t-shirt, discounted admission to the Fyrishov Water Park. Price: 195 SEK per person.


Category H: 2 overnight stays incl. breakfast at a hotel (multi-bed rooms) Bus transportation to and from the floorball arenas and hotels, Cup t-shirt, discounted admission to the Fyrishov Water Park. Price: 1 100 SEK per person


Some sort of Attendance Cards are mandatory for all players & managers. One attendance card for each team you play on. 


Food vouchers for lunch and dinner can be purchased by anyone who visits 

Storvreta Cup for 70 SEK.


Food card:

For those of you who have booked an H-card or D-card and want to eat all five lunches / dinners we now offer a foodcard at a discounted price: 325 SEK

NOTE! The foodcard is not a Attendance card, but one way to order meals during the tournament. It can be purchased by anyone who visits Cup.


Hotel Reservations:

Hotel bookings are spread over several hotels with a good grade in Uppsala. There are only a limited number of rooms available so book your rooms well in advance. All hotel reservations are non-refundable. (Applies only to category H attendance cards).


Transportation:

Throughout the duration of the Cup, there is a bus service that picks up and drops off (30-minute intervals) at hotels, schools, and arenas. This transportation is included in the attendance card.


Teams that arrive or departure from Uppsala train station can schedule transportation to/from the Cup at a cost of 50 SEK per person. (Note: Schedule this service when you register your team!)


Transportation to and from Arlanda Airport or Stockholm Ferryterminal may be arranged at a cost of 250 SEK per person. (Note: Schedule this service when you register your team!)


Key dates of notification and final payment:


Notification and payment of team entry is due Storvreta IBK no later than Nov 9th 2018. All fees are paid to Swift NDEASESS, IBAN SE 97 9500 0099 6034 0250 6939 PG 250693-9 marked "Storvretacup".


Payment of the registration fee acts as the official notification.


50% of the team entry fee is refunded for cancellations made before Nov 16. 2018

Along with entering your team we ask that you make a preliminary booking of all attendance cards, ie type and amount.


Attendance cards must be paid no later than Nov 20th 2018.

What happens after I have signed up for the Storvretacup?


9th of November

You can register for the Storvretacup no later than the 9th of November, which is also the deadline to pay the application fee. Please provide your team name and class, when you pay your fees. You can see when the payment has been registered by Storvreta IBK, by logging in to your registration page.

You hereby book the participant (Observe: it is compulsory to buy attendancecars for all players and leaders in Storvreta Cup) any food coupons and shuttle that your team wants, and fills in the sizes of the cup t-shirts that you want.


16th of November

If you are forced to cancel your team from the Storvretacup, you can do so yourself up to the 16th of November by using your user name and password you chose when you first registered in Profixio, log on to your team pages and click the trash can in front of the team name.

If you want to cancel your participation in the tournament after the 16th of November, you must contact Storvreta IBK, on cup@storvretaibk.se or by phone at +46-18-366900.

Up to the 16th of November we will refund 50% of the entry fee.


20th of November

You can log on to your team's pages and modify your order until the 20th of November, after this the function will be closed and you must contact Storvreta IBK to make any changes.

Changes to your order can do this by clicking the "Change Order", make the changes / additions you want and click on "Save".


If you want to reduce the number of participant, click on "Change Order", "edit", "edit order" and type in the new number there.


The 20th of November is also the last date to pay the participationcards, any food stamps and transfers. Your invoices you print yourself by clicking on the "invoice" and then download / create invoice on your team page.

There is a box "Additional information", where you can submit any requests concerning accommodation, if you want to stay in the same school as a different team or at a specific hotel or similar. Please note that these requests are just that, desires and therefore nothing that we can guarantee. But we are obviously trying to meet as many requests as we can. Other concerns, i.e. concerning exemptions or questions about the tournament must be emailed to cup@storvretaibk.se for us to be able to answer the questions.


If you have booked a transfer with us it is important that you tell us what time the train / bus going to Uppsala C, in good time before the Cup starts. If you are going to Arlanda, we need the arrival time and departure time and flight number.


H card

If you have booked an H-card and therefore will be staying in a hotel during the Storvretacup, you must email a list of names of everyone who will be staying at the hotel later than the 20th of November to cupledning@storvretaibk.se It is possible to make changes to the name also after you submit the name list, contact Storvreta IBK at the email address above.


In the name list, you can also write any requests for single rooms (we have only a few single rooms), spatial distribution and the like. Please note that these requests are just that, desires, and therefore nothing that we can guarantee. (In H-board includes accommodation in hotels, but not in a specific type of room, but the room type can change up until arrival.)


We will allocate Hotels in the order in which payment of participationcards are received and the list of names come in.


If the H cards are not paid by the 20th of November, then these beds can no longer be counted as booked and you must contact Storvreta IBK and ask if there is still room in the hotel for your team.


In mid-December, a welcome letter with information about where you should stay, and check in to the Storvretacup will be sent to the email address you provided when you registered team.

The schedule will be published on our website in mid-December.


Bus lists with and the times when meals are served, and the contact information of matron at the school (where you can email any requests for special diets for people with allergies, etc.), maps and other useful information will be posted on our website during the autumn.


Cup start

The day the Cup will start for your team, you start to head for the check (info on where to check in will be in the welcome letter sent out in mid-December), where you leave the line up which will apply throughout the Cup. A copy will be taken and stored in a binder in the school / Fyrishov and will serve as a checklist. Line up, you get back and then you bring it to every match. You will receive your attendance card, cup t-shirts and possible food stamps, then you gain access to your room at school / you head to the hotel where you will be staying (Note that the hotels may have different times when you get access to the rooms, the easiest is contact the hotel and check with them when you can get there). 


After all, the practical is done, just head out into the wintry Uppsala and then head to the arena where you play your first match in the Storvretacup!

Exemptions can be sought for multiple players on the squad but only two overage players are allowed per game. No exemptions are made for A and B junior teams. Players with exemptions can only play on one team. 

Competition rules Storvretacup 2017/2018


1. Game Rules

2. The pairings, playing attire


M18, M20, W18, W20, M, W 2 x 20 min


Other classes 2 x 15 min,


A-finals will be played 2 x 20 min


If both teams have game jerseys in similar colors the team noted as the away team are responsible for changing jerseys.


3. Groups


Each group consists of 4 teams, where everyone plays against everyone else once. The two top finishers will advance to the playoffs. For classes 16 years and under terms of the two best runs to the A-playoffs and the other to the B-playoffs. In classes where there is only one group, all teams go to the same playoffs, position after the group stage will determine who plays who in the playoffs.


4. Scoring


The winning team in the group games get 3 points, drawn games give 1 point and lost games gives 0 points. No results or scores are calculated for classes born -06 or younger


5. Placed at equal points


At the same amount of points after the group stage position is determined by 1) Goal difference, the difference between made and conceded goals 2) Most goals scored 3) Result of game between teams 4) Draw the placement at the office.


6. Equal results at full-time in playoff


If the result at full time is equal, the match is decided by shootouts in accordance with paragraph 7. In the final a tied game results in 1 period of 5 min where the first goal wins (sudden death). If the game is still tied after this period the game is decided by a penalty shootout. The final penalty shootout is according to number 7.


7. Penalty shots for determining match


The referees will determine which goal the penalty shots will be taken on. Next, the order will be drawn between the team captains. The winning team decides which team will start the shootout. 5 field players from each team will take all the penalty shots, including additional penalties. Team captain or team management shall notify in writing the referees which numbers the players have and in what order the penalty shots will be taken. The referees then informs the secretariat. The penalty shootout is decided by five penalty shoots where team take every other penalty shot. If the game is decided during regular shootouts, the match ended. The game ends when a team is leading by a larger number of goals than the opposing team's remaining number of penalty shots. If the match is a draw after five regular penalty shots the game goes to sudden death penalty shots, with one round, one penalty shot for each team, of penalty shots at a time. A player may not take his second penalty shot before a different player takes at least one penalty shot and so on. Players who are in the protocol are marked as a goalkeeper may not participate in penalty shootout. Penalized players, but not players who have been given a match penalty, may participate in the shootout. If a team does not have access to 5 field players the shootout must be completed with the number of players available. For each penalty shot where there is no penalty shot taker, the team may not take the penalty shot. The penalty shot where players are missing can be placed anywhere among the five regular penalty shots.


8. Protests


A written protest can be submitted to the organizer up to one hour after the game in question has ended. The protest fee is 1000 SEK and shall be submitted simultaneously with the written protest.


9. Walk over (WO)


If a team is more than 10 minutes late to a games specified start time then the other team receives credit for the victory 5-0. Decisions on WO taken by the referee for the match. WO without cause, renders a penalty of 1000 SEK and that the team is excluded from the tournament. The team's past results are deleted and the group is recalculated. Otherwise, the Swedish Floorball Federation rules apply.


10. Items excluded from the Swedish Floorball Federation Rules.


Some game boards are 36 x 18 meter, penalty shots are taken directly after full time in the playoffs without overtime except in the final. Age dispensation is approved by the Competition Committee. District Federations age dispensation are used as a basis for approval. Waivers may be requested for multiple players in the squad, but no more than two over-age players are allowed per game, players may be one year older than other players on the team he is seeking dispensation for. Players with an exemption may only play on one team. Applications for age dispensation should be emailed to cup@storvretaibk.se by the 15th of December. 


There are no dispensation for the A-juniors and B-juniors given no dispenser.


11. Time-out.

No time-outs are allowed during the group games.
