The two favourites are local Fyrisfjädern players Edith Urell, 16 and Cecilia Wang 17, SOK talents amongst 70 other Swedish players will attend the tournament.

- As we can live stram the tournaments and cover 10 courts in total is great for those who can not see the tournament live. It will be really great badminton, says Mia Thorselius, event manager, Fyrisfjädern Badminton Club

The tournaments are popular and more than 350 players from all of Europe will compete. Local Ccilia Wang and Edith Urell have developed a good progress in international badminton both in singles and doubles and will be in focus of course, as this is their home town Uppsala, Sweden.

-Cecilia has the highest rank of all the Swedish women and ranked second. Edith, two years younger ranked third. In doubles the pair is ranked second.

The dignity of the two tournaments are verified as they are a part of Badminton Europes tournaments, with players from all of Europe. The Elite of Junior European badminton comes to Uppsala once a year.
